... so share in the comments what you'd like us to do on upcoming legs! We'll pick from the ones we're willing to do and have a poll to decide some aspect of it. Be creative.
For reference, in GAR 1, Chris Roat was challenged to hug every member of the Kilts at the final location. (Hi Kilts! Now you know why that happened! :))
And I thought you were just missing us after that long day in New Orleans (and we learned the hard way that night there were TWO!! Molly's on the Market).
I propose that at each restaurant, at least one of you has to order meat dish that requires the waiter to ask, "And how would you like that done?" This requires the team response: ALL: We like our meat like we like our puzzles! RICH: Bloody! TODD: Boneless! JONATHAN: Smoking! DAN: And Burning! (Then, the actual doneness can be specified.)
Alternatively, have everyone do the Where The Hell Is Matt? dance after solving every clue... or at least just Jonathan.
Take a picture all together with something bloody (ex: bloody mary), something burning, something smoking, and something boneless. Whatever you do, please keep your clothes on!
Are you going close to any of these places in the next few days? If so, you could razz Eric Harshbarger with photos. Especially if they're photos of y'all doing something that uses the leftover letters. http://www.ericharshbarger.org/cgi-bin/logolog.cgi

Delete(I challenge Egnor to check his Twitter account's password and Oauth-permission-granting and stuff. It just horked up a spam.)
ReplyDeleteIn each city, ask a local, "What is the dessert of your people in this town?" Then get photos of teamfolk eating that; shirts optional.
I think it's more challenging if they do it shirts off.

+1 To Skott's first idea

ReplyDeleteOn second thought, yeah, do the challenge with your shirts off. You can keep your boxers with your team logos on.

ReplyDeleteGet a bystander to help you on a clue and then sandbag (or you know, actually flail) on the last step so that they solve it for you.
ReplyDeleteBonus points if you get it on video.
Extra bonus points if you're shirtless.
Extra extra bonus points if the bystander is shirtless.
Kinda tough to approach someone when you're shirtless, but maybe you could figure something out while they're distracted by the puzzle.
Delete"Don't worry, I have a Vigenere grid tattooed on my back. Oh, nothing there? Aw dang, it must have been my _other_ back."
